Don Avgerinos, CBC, CEP®, RICP®, CFS®, is an experienced financial planner and portfolio consultant affiliated with Ellis Investment Partners, LLC. Alongside his role as a financial planner, Don offers investment portfolio management and retirement income planning services to his clients. With a wealth of knowledge spanning over three decades, Don is not only recognized as the host of the Retirement Income Program on Philly’s radio station 990AM “The Answer,” but he has also conducted educational workshops on investment concepts, retirement income planning, and estate planning for the past decade.

Don holds several esteemed designations, including Chartered Benefit Consultant (CBC), Certified Estate Planner (CEP®), Retirement Income Certified Professional® (RICP®), Certified Fund Specialist (CFS®), and National Social Security Advisor (NSSA®). His expertise lies in comprehensive retirement income planning, often incorporating various insurance products. Additionally, Don serves as the CEO and President of Spectrum Financial Group, Inc., a financial services firm that complements the investment planning process by offering insurance products such as life insurance, disability insurance, annuities, and long-term care insurance to both individual clients and small businesses. He also provides consulting services to business owners in the areas of retirement plans, succession planning, and employee benefits.

Outside of his professional commitments, Don dedicates his time as a certified firefighter/first responder in Chester County, PA. He nurtures a passion for aviation and is an avid aviator as a private pilot. Don has been happily married to his wife, Helen, since 1994, and together they have two wonderful children.
